Database Developer

We are seeking an experienced Database Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL development, database performance tuning, and database administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise-grade database solutions while ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Experience: 4-8 Years

Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize T-SQL code and database objects.

Design stable, reliable, and efficient database architectures.

Tune SQL queries and stored procedures to improve database performance.

Create, maintain, and optimize database objects including views, functions, and stored procedures.

Modify databases according to business requirements and perform testing activities.

Monitor and resolve database performance issues and malfunctions.

Optimize and maintain legacy database systems.

Collaborate with application developers to improve application performance and database best practices.

Ensure database systems meet company performance, availability, and reliability requirements.

Research and recommend new database technologies, products, and services.

Support database deployment, maintenance, and operational activities.

Coordinate with global teams and stakeholders on database initiatives.

4-8 years of proven experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Developer/DBA.

Strong SQL development skills with the ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimize T-SQL.

Experience creating and optimizing database objects such as stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

Hands-on experience with SQL query tuning and performance optimization.

Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices.

Experience maintaining and optimizing legacy database systems.

Knowledge of SQL Server High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.

Experience using SQL Server tools including Profiler, SSMS, PerfMon, DMVs, DBCC, and Extended Events.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience collaborating with US-based teams and stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive product development initiatives.
